“Faulty Reasoning and a Faithful God”

February 25, 2024 / Pastor Lance Gentry / Romans 3:1-8

Four objections to the truth that Jews as well as Gentiles are guilty before God and deserving of judgment for sin:

  1. Hey Paul! So is there any spiritual benefit to being Jewish? (vv. 1-2)

  2. Hey Paul! If all Jews aren’t automatically saved, isn’t God unfaithful to His promises? (vv. 3-4)

  3. Hey Paul! How can God justly judge us for sin if that judgment benefits Him by displaying His righteousness? (vv. 5-7)

  4. Hey Paul! If the judgment of our sin brings God glory, then why not sin all the more and bring Him even greater glory? (v.8)
